1. Agreement

By using SimpleMoneyAdvice.com (the "site"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. I, Michael Azzolina, run the site, and "I," "me" and "my" in these terms refer to me.

2. Education only, not advice

Everything I publish, including articles, calculators, charts, the FAQ, newsletters and social media posts, is general educational information. It isn't investment, financial, tax, legal or accounting advice, and it isn't tailored to your situation. I'm a CPA, but using the site doesn't create a client, advisory or accountant relationship between us.

Your decisions depend on facts I don't know. Before you act, I'd encourage you to talk with a licensed professional who knows your full situation.

3. Calculators and projections

Calculator results and examples are hypothetical estimates based on the assumptions shown and the numbers you enter. They aren't predictions or guarantees. Investments can lose value, and past performance doesn't guarantee future results. Tax figures are simplified and may not reflect your state, deductions or credits. Please check any result before you rely on it. You can see how I set up the numbers.

4. Accuracy

I work to keep the site accurate and current, but laws, rates and limits change, and I can make mistakes. The site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. If you spot an error, please let me know.

5. Market data

Market data, such as on the market returns page, comes from third-party providers. It may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and I provide it for education only. It isn't an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy or sell any security.

6. Links, ads and third parties

The site links to other websites and shows ads served by third parties, including Google. I don't control those sites or ads and I'm not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices. A link or an ad on the site isn't an endorsement from me.

7. Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter, you agree to receive emails from me. Every email has an unsubscribe link. My email provider handles subscriptions as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Content ownership and permitted use

The text, calculators, code, charts, graphics and logos on the site belong to Simple Money Advice and are protected by copyright and other laws. You're welcome to:

• read and use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes;
• share links to any page, including calculator share links;
• quote short excerpts with a link back to the page you quoted.

Without my written permission, you may not copy, republish, sell or frame substantial parts of the site, copy the calculators, or scrape or bulk-download content, including to train AI models or build a competing product.

9. Acceptable use

Please don't use the site in a way that breaks the law, interferes with how it works, tries to get around its security, or overloads it, including with automated requests.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything on it, including financial losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Some places don't allow certain limits on liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Changes

I may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date below shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, you're accepting the updated terms.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you have questions about them, you can reach me through the contact page.
